A TAPERED HOLE IN THE LINKAGE END IS TOO SMALL IN DIAMETER SO THAT THE STUD IN THE CENTER LINK WILL NOT INSTALL TO THE CORRECT DEPTH. IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL THE COTTER PIN.
