2001 National Rv Sea Breeze Problems

Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

Data refreshed

Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

AS WE ARE DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY/ HIGHWAY OUR NATIONAL SEABREEZE RV LOSES POWER. WE ARE COASTING DEAD WITH NO POWER AND WOULD HAVE TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER. THIS HAS HAPPENED A NUMBER OF TIMES. WE HAVE HAD OUR IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED THREE (3) TIME AND WE'RE NEVER TOLD THERE WAS A RECALL. I WAS TALKING TO A FRIEND DESCRIBING OUR SITUATION AND HE TOLD US WE SHOULD LOOK INTO RECALLS UNDER BURNED PARST OF THE IGNITION SWITCH. I CALLED GM TO DISCUSS WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH MY RV AND GAVE THEM MY VIN NUMBER. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DID NOT SEE ANY RECALLS ON WHAT I'D DESCRIBED AND THEY REFERRED ME TO THIS PAGE. SO HERE I AM WRITING THIS COMPLAINT AND HOPING WE CAN GET SOME RESOLVE.
