What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2004 Newman Sled Bed Trailer, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

DT: THE 2004 NEWMAN SLED BED TRAILER JUST FELL APART ON THE HIGHWAY. CONSUMER HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. HE DID HAVE PHOTOS AVAILABLE OF THE TRAILER. HE WANTED NHTSA TO SEE THE TRAILER FIRST BEFORE HE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS. THE CHASSIS FELL APART. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IT FELL APART. THIS WAS UNDER A LIGHT LOAD. *AK *JB
