2003 Nissan 350Z Fuel system Problems

Owner-reported complaints naming the fuel system system, filed with NHTSA

Data refreshed

Fuel system reportsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

MY CAR FOR THE LAST YEAR WILL DRIVE 5-7 MILES AND STALL IN REGULAR TRAFFIC. WE REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP. I FINALLY HAVE ENOUGH $ TO TAKE TO NISSAN. THEY CAME BACK WITH IT NEEDS ALL 2 CAM SHAFT SENSORS AND CRANK SHAFT SENSOR REPLACED. WHEN I GO ON LINE AND SEARCH MY 2003 350Z TOURING EDITION RECALL, THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM AS IT APPEARS THE WIRES CAN BREAK INSIDE DUE TO TEMP ON SOLDER JOINTS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS IS THIS A PROBLEM THAT WAS NOTED ON A RECALL AND THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THIS SAME MODEL, WHY NOW AM I GOING TO PAY NISSAN $1200 FOR THE REPAIR THAT SHOULD BE COVERED. I NEED THIS INVESTIGATED
