The defect: Innovative Specialties LLC (Innovative Specialties) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Nitro and Edge trailers. The rubber installed between the axle and trailer frame may deteriorate.
The risk: Deteriorated rubber may allow the axle to shift, causing a misalignment and increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will remove the rubber and bolt the axle directly to the frame, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 13, 2022. Owners may contact Innovative Specialties customer service at 1-207-487-2300 or [email protected].

Safety recall

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
