2009 Pace American Trailer Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 PACE AMERICA WORKSPORT TRAILER. WHILE TOWING THE TRAILER ACROSS COUNTRY, IT STARTED TO VIBRATE SO MUCH THAT THE FENDER FELL OFF. THE FOLLOWING DAY THE FENDER WAS REPLACED BY A LOCAL REPAIR FACILITY. A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER THE TRAILER WAS REPAIRED THE FENDER BROKE. THE FENDER WAS WELDED ONTO THE TRAILER BY AN ASSOCIATE. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE TRAILER TO ONE OF THEIR LOCATIONS WHICH IS 400 MILES AWAY. THE CONTACT IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY RISK SINCE THE FENDER COULD FALL OFF AGAIN AND BE RELEASED INTO ON COMING TRAFFIC WHICH COULD ALSO CAUSE A CRASH TO OCCUR.
