1997 Pace Arrow Vision Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Our database holds 3 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 1997 Pace Arrow Vision. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. CHEVROLET P30 'AUTO PARK'. ON TWO OCCASIONS I HAVE EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM WITH THIS SYSTEM IN THAT IT WOULD 'AUTO PARK' WHEN I PUT THE TRANS IN REVERSE AND I COULD NOT BACK UP. THE NEXT DAY(OR WEHN I LEFT THE RV PARK) IT WOULD WORK FINE. LIKEWISE, WHEN I HAD IT LOOKED AT FOR SERVICE IT WOULD WORK FINE. I GOT ON THE INTERNET ON SOME RV BOARDS AND FOUND OUT THAT OTHERS WERE HAVING PROBLEMS-ONE WAS LOCKED DOWN TOTALLY IN THE YARD, ANOTHER WOULD NOT HOLD, BUT THE WORSE WAS A LOCKDOWN WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD! I COULD HANDLE THE MINOR ONES BUT NOW I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE "GOING DOWN THE ROAD LOCKDOWN". THAT COULD BE SERIOUS! THE INCIDENT DATE IS NOT CORRECT BECAUSE I CAN'T RECALL EXACTLY THE TWO TIMES I HAD PROBLEMS BUT HAD TO FILL IN THE FIELD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.*AK

THE AUTOMATIC PARK SYSTEM ON OUR PACE ARROW (P30 CHASSIS GMTRS) FAILED TO HOLD THE VEHICLE WHEN PARKED. THE ONLY WAY WE COULD KEEP IT FROM ROLLING OFF WAS TO BLOCK THE WHEELS.*AK

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
