The defect
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRANSIT BUSES AND BUS SHELLS. SOME VEHICLES ARE FITTING WITH A STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT PLATE.
The risk
THIS COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.
The remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE VEHICLES FOR AN ADJUSTMENT PLATE AND WILL REPLACE THE ADJUSTMENT PLATE IF NECESSARY.

OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING MAY 2000.OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-883-3391.
