The defect

ON CERTAIN MOTOR COACHES AND MOTOR HOMES, CRACKS WERE FOUND IN THE MATERIAL USED TO MAKE SUSPENSION RADIUS ROD PINS.

The risk

BROKEN ROD PINS CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT ALL PARTS AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE ROD PINS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING SEPTEMBER 2004. CUSTOMERS MAY ALSO CONTACT PREVOST AT 1-418-831-5432.
