The defect

CERTAIN MOTORHOMES DO NOT HAVE BRAKE LIGHTS THAT ILLUMINATE CONSIDERABLY BRIGHTER THAN THE RUNNING OR TURN SIGNAL LAMPS IF ALL ARE ON AT THE SAME TIME.

The risk

THIS CONDITION MAY RESULT IN A CRASH IF THE FOLLOWING VEHICLE'S OPERATOR IS UNAWARE THAT YOU HAVE APPLIED YOUR BRAKES.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND MODIFY THE WIRING HARNESS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 1, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT FLEETWOOD AT 1-800-509-3418.
