The defect

ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, LIQUID PROPANE (LP) GAS COOK TOPS WERE INSTALLED USING A FLEXIBLE RUBBER HOSE THAT COULD BURN OR MELT.

The risk

IF UNDETECTED, THE HOSE COULD BURN THROUGH AND RESULT IN A LP GAS FIRE.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE COOK TOP RUBBER HOSE WITH COPPER TUBING. THE RECALL BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 8, 2004. CUSTOMERS CAN CONTACT COUNTRY COACH AT 1-541-998-3720.
