The defect
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON PREVOST CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH WEBASTO HEATERS, THE BURNER TUBES ARE MADE OF MATERIAL THAT DOES NOT MEET SPECIFICATIONS AND COULD FAIL PREMATURELY.
The risk
SHOULD THE BURNER TUBE FAIL, THE COOLANT HEATER COULD OVERHEAT, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A FIRE.
The remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE AFFECTED COMBUSTION CHAMBERS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 4, 2006. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT MARATHON COACH AT 541-343-9991.
