The defect

ON CERTAIN FOLDING CAMPING AND TRAVEL TRAILERS, THE HUB WELD IS INSUFFICIENT TO HOLD THE SPINDLE TO THE AXLE TUBE.

The risk

SPINDLE SEPARATION FROM THE AXLE TUBE CAN OCCUR, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The remedy

STARCRAFT IS WORKING WITH LIPPERT TO REPLACE THE AXLES ON THE AFFECTED TRAILERS. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. OWNERS MAY CONTACT STARCRAFT AT 1-260-593-2550..
