The defect

BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS, INC. (BRP) IS RECALLING MODEL YEAR 2007-2009 TRAILERS MANUFACTURED BY KARAVAN AND EQUIPPED WITH BRP BRAKES. THE BRAKING SYSTEM MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY BLED PRIOR TO DELIVERY TO THE DEALER NETWORK.

The risk

THIS MAY LEAD TO BRAKES NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

The remedy

DEALERS WILL RE-BLEED THE BRAKING SYSTEMS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 14, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT BRP AT 1-888-638-5397 OR 1-819-566-3366.
