The defect

SKYLINE IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2004 THROUGH 2007 PARK MODEL TRAILERS MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 1, 2003 THROUGH MAY 31, 2007. THE PLUG IN REMOTE CONTROL RECEIVER FOR THE FIREPLACE CAN OVERHEAT.

THIS COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.

The remedy

SKYLINE WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE RECEIVERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 19, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT SKYLINE TOLL-FREE AT 1-800-733-4250.
