The defect
PREVOST IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009-2011 VOLVO 9700 TRANSIT BUSES. DURING PRODUCTION, THE PASSENGER SEAT WALL MOUNTING TRACKS MAY HAVE NOT BEEN PROPERLY SECURED TO THE STRUCTURE.
The risk
IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH, THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY TO PASSENGERS.
The remedy
VOLVO BUS WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPAIR THE PASSENGER SEAT WALL TRACKS FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT PREVOST CAR INC., SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLL-FREE AT 1-866-870-2046 OR 1-418-831-2046.
