What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Pleasure Way Industries Ltd (Pleasure Way) is recalling certain 2017 Lexor TS motorhomes. The affected vehicles have a mirror attached to the back of the closet door that may detach unexpectedly.

The risk

The falling mirror may increase the risk of injury.

The remedy

Pleasure Way will notify owners, and dealers will attach the mirror with clips instead of just adhesive, free of charge. The recall began on June 29, 2017. Owners may contact Pleasure Way customer service at 1-800-364-0189.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
