The defect
Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022 LFS transit buses. During assembly, the power steering hose may not have been assembled correctly, which can result in hose detachment and a loss of power steering assist.
The risk
Sudden loss of power steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Nova Bus will inspect and replace the power steering hoses, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 6, 2023. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova's numbers for this recall are CR5374 and CR5375.
