The defect
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023 Salem and Wildwood travel trailers. The brakes may be incorrectly wired, which can result in a loss of brake function.
The risk
A loss of brake function can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will rewire the brakes, free of charge. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall is 27-1632.
