The defect
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cherokee CKT20-0G travel trailers. During installation, an incorrect length screw was used to install the microwave, which allowed the screw to enter the microwave compartment.
The risk
The presence of a screw in the microwave compartment can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.
The remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the microwave as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 89-1819.
