The defect
Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2024 Starcraft Allstar Transit buses. The handle for the emergency exit window may not be visible to someone standing in the aisle, which can delay passengers from exiting in the event of an emergency.
The risk
A delay in exiting the vehicle during an emergency increases the risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the bottom handle windows with side handle windows, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service at 800-348-7440. Forest River Bus's number for this recall is 05-1896.
