Nova Bus will install a wire extension kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 3, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5719.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1- 888-275-9171), or go to www.safercar.gov.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
