The defect
Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling one 2025 X3-45 VIP Entertainer vehicle. The front lower control arm fasteners may have been improperly tightened, which can result in control arm separation.
The risk
A detached control arm can cause a loss of vehicle steering and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
The owner is advised not to drive their vehicle until it has been repaired. Prevost will inspect and tighten the fasteners as necessary, free of charge. An owner notification letter was mailed June 12, 2025. Owner may contact Prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046. Prevost's number for this recall is SR25-13.
