What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Premier Trailer Solutions LLC (Premier Trailer) is recalling certain 2024 Reel and Pole trailers. The oil seals may have been improperly installed, allowing oil to leak onto the brake system.

The risk

Oil leaking onto brake components can reduce braking ability and increase the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Premier Trailer will replace the hub seals, free of charge. All affected trailers were repaired by February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Premier Trailer customer service at 260-565-2244.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
