What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entourage recreational vehicles. A bolt may contact the truss support and fail, allowing the rebound clip to detach from the leaf spring.

The risk

A clip detachment may cause the leaf sprig to fan out, reducing stability and increasing the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will remove part of the truss tube to increase the clearance, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 12, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest river's number for this recall is 210-1982.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
