The defect
Triple E Recreational Vehicles (Triple E) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Unity recreational vehicles. The weight label lists a seat belt seating capacity of four passengers, but the floorplan is designed for two passengers and is equipped with two seat belts.
The risk
There would not be enough seat belts if more than two passengers sat in the u-lounge, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
The remedy
Triple E will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 25, 2025. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#10987-1. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 19, 2025
A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
