What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Terminal Investment Corporation (TICO) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Pro Spotter Tandem tractors. The track rod mounting bracket for the forward rear axle, of the tandem axles set may crack and break, which can result in track rod detachment.

The risk

Track rod detachment can cause a loss of vehicle steering control and increase the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the track rod mounting bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact TICO customer service at 1-843-536-8139.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
