The defect
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Coleman travel trailers. The bed brackets may not be secured to a stud, causing the bed to fall unexpectedly.
The risk
A murphy bed that falls increases the risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will reinstall the brackets into a stud, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-479. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 19, 2026.
