The defect

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2026 Coleman travel trailers. The bed brackets may not be secured to a stud, causing the bed to fall unexpectedly.

The risk

A murphy bed that falls increases the risk of injury.

The remedy

Dealers will reinstall the brackets into a stud, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2026. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-479. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning March 19, 2026.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
