The defect
Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC (Ember) is recalling certain 2026 E-Series and Overland Series travel trailers. The incorrect Unloaded Vehicle Weight and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) information may be listed on the Federal Certification Label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Ember will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
