What this recall covers

NHTSA's campaign record, quoted as published

The defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Entourage motorhomes. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may incorrectly state 7 seat belted positions, when the motorhome has 8 positions, which can allow the motorhome to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other than Passenger Cars.”

The risk

An overloaded vehicle increases the risk of a crash.

The remedy

Dealers will remove one of the seat belts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 19, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest River's number for this recall is 210-2041.

A safety recall is issued when a manufacturer or NHTSA determines that a vehicle has a safety-related defect or does not comply with a federal motor vehicle safety standard. Recall repairs are free. Whether a specific vehicle is covered depends on its VIN — a recall listed for a model year does not necessarily apply to every vehicle of that year.
