The defect
Brinkley RV (Brinkley) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Model Z trailers. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.
The risk
Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2026. Owner notification letters were mailed June 3, 2026. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 28, 2026.
