THOMPSON CAMPAIGN NO N/A.TANK TRAILER.POSSIBILITY THAT THE INDUCTIONHARDENING PROCESSIN EFFECT AT NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL'S AXLE PLANT MAY HAVECREATED HIGH RESIDUAL STRESSES AT THE INNER BEARING SHOULDER AREA.THESESTRESSES MAY TURN INTO PHYSICAL CRACKS UNDER EXTENDED FIELD SERVICE.CONTINUEDUSE OF THE AXLE AFTER CRACKING HAS OCCURRED MAY CAUSE AXLE SPINDLE TO FRACTURE.(CORRECT BY INSPECTING AND REPLACING AXLE WHERE NECESSARY.)
