The defect
ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE SECURING NUT WHICH FASTENS THE PENDULUM LEVER TO THE STEERING BOX ROCKING SHAFT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTLY FASTENED. SHOULD THE NUT WORK LOOSE AND COME OFF, THE PENDULUM LEVER MAY BE DETACHED FROM THE ROCKING SHAFT.
The remedy
THE DEALER WILL TIGHTEN THE SECURING NUT TO PROPER SPECIFICATIONS ON ALL INVOLVED VEHICLES.
