The defect

THE FRONT WHEEL SPINDLE ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY CRACK IN SERVICE. SPINDLE STEM SEPARATION COULD OCCUR DUE TO FAILURE OF THE STEM AT THE INNER BEARING FILLET LOCATION.

The remedy

THE DEALER WILL REPLACE BOTH FRONT SPINDLES, IF NECESSARY, FREE OF CHARGE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH POLICE PACKAGE ANDOPTIONAL FRONT DISC BRAKES.SYSTEM: STEERING; FRONT WHEEL SPINDLE.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: SHOULD SEPARATION OCCUR, LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND ANACCIDENT COULD RESULT.
