The defect
AN AIR LEAK COULD DEVELOP THROUGH THE PISTON SHAFT SEAL RING WHICH SEALS THE INSIDE OF THE BRAKE BOOSTER FROM THE ATMOSPHERE. THIS COULD RESULT IN A REDUCTION IN BRAKE BOOSTER ASSIST, NECESSITATING INCREASED BRAKE PEDAL PRESSURE.
The remedy
DEALER WILL REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE SEAL WITH AN IMPROVED VERSION AT NO CHARGE TO OWNER.
