The defect
THE INVOLVED VEHICLES HAVE "BAY WINDOWS" WHICH MAY NOT REMAIN SECURE UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. A SHARP TURN OR STRESS MANEUVER COULD THROW A PASSENGER AGAINST THE WINDOW WITH SUFFICIENT IMPACT TO FORCE THE WINDOW OUT.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSTALL A SET OF FOUR CLIPS, TWO ON EITHER SIDE OF THE WINDOW, BETWEEN THE GLASS AND THE OUTER METAL FRAME TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR THE BAY WINDOW.
