The defect
THE EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION MANIFOLD CORE PLUGS MAY BECOME DISPLACED RESULTING IN A LOSS OF ENGINE VACUUM AND SUBSEQUENT STALLING. THIS WOULD PRODUCE IMMEDIATE ERRATIC ENGINE OPERATION AND SUBSEQUENT LOSS OF POWER BRAKES AND POWER STEERING ASSIST.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSTALL A MODIFIED CORE PLUG DEVICE AT NO COST TO OWNER.
