The defect
THE OUTER RUBBER CASING OF THE FRONT BRAKE HOSES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CRACKING ADJACENT TO THE METAL END FITTINGS. THIS COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID AND SUBSEQUENT DEGRADATION OF BRAKING CAPABILITY.
The remedy
DEALER WILL REPLACE BOTH FRONT BRAKE HOSES, AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: UTILITY VEHICLES.SYSTEM: SERVICE BRAKES; FRONT BRAKE HOSES.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: OVERALL BRAKING EFFICIENCY WOULD BE SEVERELY REDUCED,WHICH COULD LEAD TO A VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN A SITUATION REQUIRING A SUDDEN STOP.
