The defect

UPON FRONT BRAKE APPLICATION, A COMBINATION OF SPEED AND SPECIAL ROAD CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE THE ALUMINUM SPOKE BLADES TO CRACK, EVENTUALLY LEADING TO COLLAPSE OF THE WHEEL.

The remedy

THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE FRONT WHEEL, FREE OF CHARGE, ON ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES.SYSTEM: WHEELS; FRONT WHEEL SPOKE BLADES.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT COULD OCCURWITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.NOTE: THE MOTORCYCLE SHOULD NOT BE RIDDEN UNTIL IT HAS BEEN INSPECTED ANDRECEIVED THE NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS.
