The defect
THE PUSH ROD CONNECTING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE BRAKE BOOSTER COULD BEND UNDER EXTREME PEDAL PRESSURE AND EVENTUALLY BREAK OFF. COMPLETE LOSS OF BRAKING CAPABILITY COULD OCCUR.
The remedy
THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE EXISTING PUSH ROD ON INVOLVED VEHICLES WITH AN IMPROVED TYPE, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
