The defect
ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, ANY OF THE FOUR BOLTS MAY BECOME LOOSE OR DETACHED FROM THE TRACK ROD ADJUSTER.
The remedy
DEALER WILL TIGHTEN THE TRACK ADJUSTING CLAMP BOLTS, IF NECESSARY, WITHOUT CHARGE.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES.SYSTEM: STEERING; TRACK ROD ADJUSTING CLAMP BOLTS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: THIS WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL WHICH MAYRESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.NOTE: EARLY STAGES OF THIS DEFECT MAY BE DETECTED BY A KNOCK OR RATTLEEMANATING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE.
