The defect
THERE MAY BE A MALFUNCTION OF THE WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP DUE TO ITS POSITION IN THE ENGINE BAY.
The remedy
DEALER WILL REPOSITION THE WINDSHIELD WASHER PUMP. PUMPS WILL ALSO BE REPLACED ON CERATIN VEHICLES, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNERS.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES.SYSTEM: VISUAL; WINDSHIELD WASHER.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: FAILURE OF THE WASHER MOTOR (PARTICULARLY WHEN THEWINDSHIELD BECOMES OBSCURED DUE TO DIRT OR OTHER FOREIGN MATTER) WILL INTERFEREWITH DRIVER VISIBILITY. THIS CREATES A SAFETY HAZARD THAT COULD LEAD TO ANACCIDENT.
