The defect

A CLAMP MAY NOT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ON A FUEL HOSE LINE. CONSEQUENTLY, THE RUBBER FUEL LINE COULD SEPARATE FROM THE METAL FUEL LINE, RESULTING IN LOSS OF FUEL TO THE ENGINE. THUS THE ENGINE WOULD LOSE POWER AND STOP.

The remedy

OWNER WILL BE SENT A FUEL HOSE CLAMP AND MAY EITHER INSTALL IT HIMSELF OR HAVE THE DEALER INSTALL IT.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORHOMES.SYSTEM: FUEL; LINE CLAMP.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: POWER STEERING AND BRAKE OPERATION COULD BE AFFECTED,CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT. LEAKING FUEL WOULD ALSO CREATETHE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE FIRE AND INJURY TO VEHICLE PASSENGERS.
