The defect
UNDER EXTREME TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS, THE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE WILL CAUSE THE VALVE SPRING SEAT TO DISLODGE AND THE FUEL SUPPLY TO THE CARBURETOR WILL DECREASE. ENGINE HESITATION ON CONTINUOUS HIGH ROADS AND ENGINE STALLING ON INCLINED ROADS COULD OCCUR. DRIVER MAY BE UNABLE TO RESTART ENGINE.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE WITHOUT CHARGE.
