The defect
THE REAR IN-BOARD SEAT BELT MOUNTING BRACKETS MAY FRACTURE WHEN SUBJECTED TO STRESSES GENERATED UNDER IMPACT CONDITIONS. THE TENSILE STENGTH OF THE BRACKET IS INADEQUATE.
The remedy
DEALER WILL REPLACE THE REAR SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
