The defect
THE SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY MAY CONTAIN THE WRONG TYPE OF LOCK NUT AT THE ATTACHMENT TO THE DRIVER"S SEAT. THIS CAN ALLOW THE LOCK NUT AND SEAT BELT TO SEPARATE UNDER NORMAL VEHICLE VIBRATION OR FROM FORCE EXERTED BY THE WEARER.
The remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT AND, IF NECESSARY, INSTALL THE CORRECT LOCK NUT IN THE SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY. THIS WILL BE DONE WITHOUT CHARGE.
