The defect
THE DRIVER"S SEAT BELT MAY FAIL TO MEET FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 209, "SEAT BELT ASSEMBLIES". SEAT BELTS MAY NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY LONG TO ALLOW SOME DRIVERS TO FASTEN THEM WHEN THE SEAT IS IN THE FORWARD AND HIGHEST POSITION.
The remedy
SEAT BELTS OF THE CORRECT LENGTH WILL BE PROVIDED, WITHOUT CHARGE, FOR OWNER INSTALLATION.
