The defect

THE INVOVLED VEHICLES FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 120, "TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER VEHICLES". THE FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO PROPERLY SUPPORT THE VEHICLE AT A HEIGHT FOR PROPER ROAD CLEARANCE.

The remedy

THE DEALER WILL INSTALL A TORSION BAR OF SUFFICIENT STRENGTH TO SUPPORT THE VEHICLE PROPERLY, AT NO COST TO OWNER.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BUSES.SYSTEM: SUSPENSION; INDEPENDENT FRONT TORSION BAR.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE OIL PAN ORTRANSMISSION COVER, AND SUCH DAMAGE COULD RENDER VEHICLE UNDRIVEABLE. IFVEHICLE BECOMES DISABLED IN TRAFFIC, AN ACCIDENT COULD RESULT.
