The defect

THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH A METALLURGICALLY DEFICIENT LOWER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY.

The remedy

DEALER WILL REPLACE RIGHT AND LEFT LOWER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT ASSEMBLIES.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES.SYSTEM: SUSPENSION; INDEPENDENT FRONT CONTROL ARM, LOWER BALL JOINT.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF A FRONT WHEEL ORA HEAVILY DAMAGED FRONT SUSPENSION, CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND ANACCIDENT.
