The defect
THE INVOLVED VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH A MIRROR THAT IS LESS THAN 12.5 SQUARE INCHES IN REFLECTIVE SURFACE AREA OR THE MIRROR MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED ENTIRELY. THIS CONSTITUTES A NON-COMPLIANCE TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 111, "REARVIEW MIRRORS".
The remedy
THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE EXISTING MIRROR OR INSTALL ONE, IF NECESSARY, AT NO COST TO OWNER.
